Paper Submission:
All paper submissions (either abstract or full length paper) MUST be submitted online at the TIIM website. Upload your paper or abstract to http://www.tiimconference.org by January 15, 2009. All paper submissions (either abstract or full length paper) will undergo a double-blind review process. Notification of acceptance will be sent by February 15, 2009.

Accepted papers are to be included in the TIIM 2009 Conference Proceedings in CD form. Guidelines for the Proceedings are online at TIIM website. Authors of selected full-length papers will be given the opportunity to revise their papers for inclusion in a future issue of 16 sponsored journals (see the list at http://www.tiimconference.org/sponsored_journals.html according to the guidelines for publication and editorial decision as specified in each journal. TIIM registered delegates will have opportunity to meet F2F with editors of these journals as well. Please be advised that abstract-only submissions will not be selected for journal publications.

The TIIM policy requires one unique author to be registered for each paper accepted for presentation and publication. If you are an author or co-author on more then one accepted paper, each paper must have one unique author registration to be accepted for conference presentation and publication.

Participant Activities for TIIM 2009:
The TIIM 2009 Program includes an array of refereed paper sessions, several innovative panel sessions, along with Doctoral Students Workshop on Writing Scientific Articles for International Journals (June 16-17, 2009). The Doctoral Students Workshop will run on the first two days of the pre-conference, June 16-17 concluding with a reception. We are also inviting top scholars to attend the reception where doctoral students will have an opportunity to get to know some “names” in our field. More than 300 colleagues from six continents are expected to attend this milestone event.

Affectionately known as “The Land of Smiles”, the Kingdom of Thailand is one of the most fascinating countries in Asia. This reflects on charm and friendly attitude of Thai people. Over the last few decades, Thailand's capital city, Bangkok, has changed into a modern, exciting and sophisticated city. Bengkel Penulisan Jurnal Antarabangsa

AlhamduLillah, pada hari bertemu dengan Koordinator Research Management Unit (RMU), saya telah dipelawa oleh Encik Haslizaidi Zakaria untuk memberikan maklumat mengenai penulisan artikel dalam jurnal antarabangsa. Hasilnya UiTM Pahang dengan kerjasama UPENA dan RMU telah menetapkan 25 November 2008 akan di adakan Bengkel Penulisan Jurnal Antarabangsa bermula pukul 8.30 pagi hingga 5.00 petang. Di sini saya ingin mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada Pengarah Kampus UiTM Pahang Prof. Madya. Dr. Hilmi Abdul Rahman, Pengerusi Bengkel, Prof. Dr. Suhaimi Muhammad, serta rakan-rakan di UPENA dan RMU yang menjemput saya sebagai penceramah. Terima kasih semua.

Editorial Review Board of Interdisciplinary Journal of Information, Knowledge and Management

Rezeki yang Allah berikan sememang melimpah ruah. Kadang-kala kita terlupa dengan nikmat yang diberikan. Saya terkenangkan komen daripada sahabat handai (e.g. Sdr. Hisham dan Sdr. Halim), mengenai rezeki. Betullah, kalau kita bersyukur, Allah akan tambahkan nikmat ke atas kita. AlhamduLillah semalam, saya dilantik sebagai Editorial Review Board bagi international refereed journal, Interdisciplinary Journal of Information, Knowledge and Management (IJIKM) (USA). IJIKM merupakan salah satu jurnal rasmi Informing Science Institute, USA. Oleh kerana Informing Science Institute, USA akan mengadakan internatioanl conference, maka saya juga turut terlibat sebagai reviewer bagi Informing Science and Information Technology Education Joint Conference, June 12-15 2009. AlhamduLillah, segala pengalaman ini akan saya gunakan untuk menafaat bersama.

AlhamduLillah, saya menerima e-mail dari chief-in-editor, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Prof. Nord, melantik saya sebagai Editorial Review Board. Journal of Computer Information Systems (JCIS) merupakan jurnal yang tersenarai dalam Institute of Scientific Information Index (ISI) atau erti kata lain impact factor journal. JCIS merupakan antara journal terbaik Information Systems setaraf dengan MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information System etc. Dalam ARC/ERA Journal Ranking, JCIS tergolong dalam kategori A+ journal.
Semalam juga saya menerima berita dari World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET), bahawa saya dilantik sebagai WASET Scientific and Technical Committee (Humanities and Social Sciences). WASET merupakan badan penyelidikan bukan kerajaan yang menaja banyak persidangan di Perancis, USA, Thailand, Singapore dan di merata dunia. Saya bersyukur, dengan pelantikan ini akan memberikan saya peluang untuk menimba ilmu penyelidikan terutamanya bersama rakan-rakan diperingkat antarabangsa.

Hari Raya 2008

Hari raya kali ini banyak peristiwa yang berlaku. Ada cerita yang mengembirakan dan ada berita yang begitu menyedihkan. Cerita mengembirakan ialah saya dan Intan sempat menghadiri dan turut menjayakan perjumpaan hari raya keluarga bin nawawi. Boleh dikatakan ramai ahli keluarga Sheikh Haji Nawawi, pengajar kepada Sultan Perak, sempat bertandang dan bersama-sama berhari raya di Taiping. Ada keluarga yang datang dari jauh tetapi sempat meluangkan masa sehingga lewat petang. Sheikh Haji Nawawi merupakan tokoh ulama yang disegani di negeri Perak dan beliau mempunyai 22 orang anak. Buat masa sekarang hanya 10 orang anak beliau yang masih hidup. Sheikh Haji Nawawi merupakan datuk kepada Intan. AlhamduLillah perjumpaan kali ini berlainan sedikit berbanding pada tahun-tahun yang lepas kerana ianya diadakan di dewan serbaguna.

Cerita sedih pula ialah, sehari sebelum hari raya, saya menerima message daripada beberapa teman di Fakulti Pengurusan Perniagaan, bahawa Prof. Madya Halim, Timbalan Dekan, jatuh koma. Pada mulanya beliau dibawa ke Hospital di Klang, tetapi ditukar ke HBKL untuk pembedahan. Pembedahan pertama berjaya, walaubagaimanapun beliau masih koma. Pada waktu itu beliau bernafas menggunakan alat bantuan mesin. Selang beberapa hari beliau menjalani minor operation untuk menebuk lubang penafasan. AlhamduLillah, sekarang beliau boleh mengerakkan jari dan mengigit tiub penafasan. Saya mendoakan beliau akan cepat sembuh.

Begitulah kedua-dua peristiwa yang berlaku pada syawal tahun ini. Selamat Hari Raya. Maaf Zahir Batin.

Kalimah Allah di Langit Shah Alam

Di hadapan rumah, Kalimah Allah jelas kelihatan di Bukit Bandaraya, Shah Alam

Pada hari selasa (September, 30 2008) jam 3.20 petang, saya keluar rumah untuk menjemput adik ipar, Hakimi bagi mengambil beberapa barang untuk perayaan hari raya. Pada masa itu saya ternampak awan yang membentuk kalimah Allah di langit. Pada masa yang sama, Hakimi terus capai handphone untuk ambil gambar. Saya panggil Intan untuk melihat kejadian besar ini. Tak puas dengan camera handphone, Hakimi merakamkan saat itu dengan camera lain. Kami sempat melihat bagaimana awan itu bertukar dan hilang menjadi kepulan awan biasa. Paling unik, arah kalimah Allah ini sebaris dengan arah kiblat dan di 'kurungi' dengan petak-petak awan lain. SubhanAllah. Allah tutupkan ramadhan kali ini dengan peringatan yang besar. Kejadian ini berakhir dalam dua minit sahaja.
